After growing up in a small, south Alabama town, I earned a bachelors degree in Studio Art and a master’s degree in counseling. Ultimately, I enjoyed 15 exhilarating years in the nonprofit sector as a therapist, child advocate and in nonprofit management in the Mid-Atlantic states. When my husband retired from his first career, we had the opportunity to move back to Alabama where I am enjoying the privilege of watching my nieces and nephew grow. I used this relocation as a chance to follow my creative passions and Monica Donohoe Jewelry was born.
I continue to be a fierce advocate for the rights of Girls and Women.
